Client has some products like Nike that they want to show online but do not want visitor to have ability to purchase. I thought there was a setting in admin to do this but I cannot find it. Can you help. Perhaps for these types of products a note could be displayed instead like "Not available online".

Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Chapman,

You are able to set the template of an individual product and this will achieve this.

1. Login to Administration

2.Home Store Products View/Edit Products

Template file -> shopexd.asp
Template Listing -> shopdisplayproducts.asp

By having a unique template for each product you can base it on tmp_productformat.htm and tmp_product.htm but remove the calls of FORMAT_BUTTON or SPECIALORDER_BUTTON.

This will remove the quantity buttons and buttons so that you can see the product and present it in its own way but not be able to submit it to the cart.
