• Q: Can you install my business logo for me?
  • A: Yes, if you have a logo simply open a helpdesk ticket and attach the logo and we will upload it onto your template for you.
• Q: Do you provide support for my store?
  • A: As a Business Ready customer you are entitled to free support for the lifetime of your contract. The amount of free support you receive depends on your plan, Basic plan customers receive two free helpdesk tickets per month, Professional receive four and customers on our Premium package get six.
• Q: Do you provide live chat support for my store?
  • A: We provide Live Chat support for our Professional and Premium Plan customers. Premium, Professional, and Basic plan customers can also submit tickets into our helpdesk for assistance 24 hours a day Monday to Friday.
• Q: Is comprehensive assistance offered for both our VPCart site and all other unrelated VPCart sites?
  • A: While we do offer complete support for VPCart, any support related to non-VPCart third-party software falls beyond the scope of the provided support package.
• Q: What hours is your support available?
  • A: Free 24 hour support Monday to Friday and emergency server down support over the weekends (Limitations apply during public holidays).
• Q: Can I switch my existing VP-CART store to a Business Ready Plan from another host?
  • A: Certainly! We can easily migrate your data and your images across to the latest version of the VP-Cart software.
• Q: Can I switch to a Business Ready Plan from an existing VP-CART store?
  • A: Yes, switching is simple, we migrate your store onto our servers and automatically upgrade you to the latest version of our software.
• Q: Is the Business Ready Plan an open-source or a hosted solution?
  • A: Business Ready Plans are a hosted solution however you have full access to the template files so you have full control over the design and layout of your store.
• Q: What if I want to move the files to my own server. Are there any restrictions?
  • A: All you need to do is purchase the Deluxe Pac and you can install the store to any Windows web server. We will provide the database for you in a format ready to be restored onto your new server.
• Q: Do I need to pay the full price for the Deluxe Pac if moving to my own server?
  • A: If you have held a Business Ready Plan account for more than 12 months you can purchase the Deluxe Pac at 50% off the full price!
• Q: Can I change from the Business Ready Plan to a standard VP-CART hosting account?
  • A: You certainly can! You just need to purchase the Deluxe Pac so you have a license. The same rules as above apply.
• Q: What about my payment gateway? Will you install the gateway for me?
  • A: We certainly will. Provided your gateway is on our supported Payment Gateway partner list we will install the gateway for you. You do need to sign up with the gateway provider first though.
• Q: What is a payment gateway?
  • A: A payment gateway allows you to take credit cards on your site in real-time. So when someone makes an order on your site the payment will be directed to your bank account without any intervention from you. Examples of payment gateways are PayPal and AuthorizeNet,
• Q: Do you charge a setup fee?
  • A: A one-off set up fee of US$95 applies. This fee pays for everything you need to go from having no online presence for your business to a fully functioning e-commerce website.
• Q: Can I switch to VP-CART from another shopping cart?
  • A: Definitely. We offer a migration service for those customers coming to us from other cart solutions. Just post a ticket on our helpdesk and our team will provide you with a quote.
• Q: Can I have SSL with my Business Ready Plan?
  • A: Basic, Professional, and Premium Plan allows you to have an SSL Certificate installation. You can either purchase an SSL through us and we will automatically renew for you each year ensuring that your store and customers are protected at all times or you can purchase your own SSL certificate and we will install for you for US$45.
