Hi-

We want to exclude the "Stock" field and associated inventory qty from product listings- how can we do this?

It''s possible I''m missing a checkbox or dropdown somewhere, but I can''t find anything on the item page in Product Setup that will allow me to do this. I wanted to attach a screenshot here but can''t figure out how to do that.

We''re on VP Deluxe 8.1.0.2 and I want to do this on Parent items. We have some templates made to exclude Stock already, but it also gets rid of some things I want to keep. Our Child items already exclude the field I don''t want, but our Parents show it.

can you show me your link?? i coulnt imagine the stock field that you''ve described here.

Hi Diego, here is a link to a product page I''m working with *URL redacted- problem solved*. I''d like to omit the Stock entry in the buybox. Thank you!

Shamoo, do you want to remove the Stock 498??
you will need to find out which template is used for the product, as i have limited access to check your admin settings, i dont know what template is used,,
you can check in the edit product for which template is used, or check in configuration settings.

Yes the Stock 498 is what I hope to remove- many of our parent items have this field displayed in listings. We’re moving toward using more Parent/Child relationships so we’d like to improve how these listings look. Do you happen to know what portion of code in the templates I should be looking for? I am pretty new to that portion of VPASP.

maybe try to find out if anything in the template you use have this

$ <span class="productinfolabel">[getlang langproductstock]</span><span class="productinfodetails">[cstock]</span><div class="cb"></div>

And just remove entire line.
tell me if it is working???
