Thankfully we don''t have to deal with this special eco-tax anymore, but we were looking to figure out how to implement it on our version of VPASP. California has or had an eco-tax that was added on the price of goods for the extra disposal fees associated with them. Are we the first to come across this issue? |

Could you use the handling fee for just the products that need to have the tax added possibly?
This would allow some products to have a "tax" applied while others do not.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

How do you know for sure if a product has tax added to it or not? |

what i want to suggest you,, rather than you use xtaxbyproduct,, you may want add the eco-tax percentage into existing California state record for statetaxrate field. take you example if a normal californian tax is eg 8%,, and eco-tax for california is eg 5% then just set california state with tax rate 0.13 in the field statetaxrate. would you think my solution acceptable? diego. |
