If I enter a coupon that only works on Product A, yet I have no product A in the cart...there is no message.

So I have not so bright customers that try to apply free coupon for product A to product B and then choose to be invoiced and complain that there is no discount on the invoice.

Anyone added this type of validation?

I''ve never tried it, but I think it''s good. I would to try first.

Good point, should be validation on page shopcustomer.asp after we click "Continue" button and show some notification or message if the coupon is not for the current product in the cart, and maybe prevent the user to continue to shopcreateorder.asp page until user input the correct coupon or fill the field to blank.
