Anyone have a code fragment that accesses items in the cart before the order is placed?

hi bacardiman, do you mean you want to edit your items in the cart before going to payment page ?

Not edit, just read.

What I want to do exactly is add another validation to the coupon code. Right now it lets you know if it is invalid or has expired, but it does not check that it matches the product in the cart.

So I want to add to the coupon validation to check which products the coupon is good for and check the cart before payment to make sure there is at least one item in the cart that matches the coupon.

I know how to get the info on the coupon, but I dod not know how to get at the items in the cart to compare.
