I'm attempting to run the Convertsql.asp script with the create650sqlserver.txt
file. From that file, I see that the script is trying to create a database called
shopping650, even though I specified in my shop$config.asp file, a database
named 752737_default that's already on our system. Do I really need to create
an entirely new database? Can I just have the script add the necessary tables to my
current database. We already have product information in our current database, so
I'd like to have it be easy enough to move the necessary data into the VP-ASP
tables. Otherwise, why am I asked to enter a value in the variable xDatabase?
To create this database, I need admin permission, but the user name I use does
not, so I can create tables, etc. but not a new database.

Hi there

You can certainly use your existing database to run the convert scripts on.

I would suggest opening the Access database and making sure there are no conflicts in table names and if not then just add the database details to shop$config.asp and then adding the new VPASP tables to your existing database.

Hope this helps

Thanks
Cam
