Just wondering how does everyone uses the Order Tracking status and Order Pending status? Would like to pick up some good practices.

The default values are:

Order Tracking Status
- Waiting payment, Shipping, Back order

Order Pending Status
- Pending, Back Order, Other

Hmm, try to set:

Xorderpending = Yes
Xorderpendingvalues = Pending, Processed, Shipped

Daniel, thnks for your answer but no, that''s not what I was asking.

I already know how to set those values etc. What I wanted to know from the community is how they are using the two fields - Status and Pending - to manage their order fuifillment process (and see if there''s some good practices I can adopt for mine).

Hey there. The status are used in updating the order status. This is for informng the customers on the update on their orders

Thanks everyone for your replies. Most helpful to us. Jst to update for other''s future references, this is how we are using both sets of status now

Order Tracking Status - for us to communicate to customer the status of their orders
Order Pending Status - for us to use internally to track the current status of unprocessed orders
