I just want my customers to register with Name, last name, Country, E-Mail and how did you hear about us.
I was able to hide all the rest field but when I click Continue I get the errors:

Address is a required field.
City is a required field.
Zip Code is a required field.
Phone is a required field.

I checked all the pages where I thought I could fix this validation but cannot find where. I had done. that in version 7.0
I check the admin configuration wityh no luck.

Does anybody knows how to do this in version 8?
I am running now 8.00.4 had not upload the 8.00.8 yet

Any help will be appreciated.

hi soncci,

you will need to disable validation in shopcustregister.asp file

open the shopcustregister.asp file and locate

ValidateCustomerFields

add comment so it became

''ValidateCustomerFields

It work perfect.
I checked yesterday the shopcustregister.asp file
but could not find this validation since I was looking for specifics like Address, City, etc.
