Thank you Sharon. That link worked and the setup information is exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully Version 8 will be similar. Just waiting for a link to come in so I can download Version 8:-)

Hi everyone,
We are very nearly there. We have most of the help guides uploaded now and are just finishing off a few things.
I need to take some rest and will be going live when I get back to work in my morning which will be later in the US afternoon.
Thanks for your patience and we are very excited to be so close.

Anyone having trouble upgrading to version 8? I can access the control panel and update/save settings. When I try to load the actual website I keep getting "Page isn''t redirecting properly". Even a complete ''NEW'' install using the demo dbase does exactly the same thing. http://www.inkmagic2.gdom.net/
Anyone???

We have had a few reports of bugs coming in but this is a strange one.

I''ve got an issue installing the database, I get no errors installing the db but when I continue to set up the admin pass i get an error and there is only one table in the database.
If I delete the table it seems that the install script save what it thinks it has already done somewhere and won''t let me re-install.

Hi Mark,
To re-run some or all of the install or upgrade process open te Installation folder or Upgrade folder and locate the file:
setup.ini
Change the relevant stage from Completed to Pending

We have released an update which addresses the bugs that have been posted to us.
You can download the update from our upgrade page:
http://www.vpasp.com/sales/upgrade.asp
Use Winmerge from www.winmerge.org to compare the old and new folders to bring across the changes or if you have not made any design changes just replace the original files with the new ones excepting the shop$config.asp files located in the CONFIG folders.

There is no thread for issues so I guess I''ll post here. There seems to be a conflict from the phone order system and the front end. There are variables needing defining in shophash.asp for the phone order system but if they are defined there they cause an error on the front end saying they are redefined. Name redefined
/carttest/shophash.asp, line 8
const XConvertPlainText = "Yes"
same is true for const BASE_64_MAP_INIT = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789+/" dim Base64EncMap(63) dim Base64DecMap(127) in shophash.asp
I''ve commented them out while setting up. please post the fix.
This is after applying the patch updates you just posted about.
