A security vulnerability has been identified by Microsoft, affecting all Windows operating systems.
The severity rating for this vulnerability is listed as critical because it could allow an attacker to execute malicious code remotely by using a specially crafted HTTP request to an affected Windows system.
This could result in rendering your server unreachable if the malicious script uses up all of the server resources or could even result in allowing unauthorized 3rd party access.
