I need know how to edit monthly sales graph in admin page where it will show all 12 months plus the current month to compare current month sales to last year same month.?

any ideas?

Hi,

If you go to Reports and in the first section enter
Year: 2013 Month: 3 Day: 1
Year: 2014 Month: 4 Day: 1
Set the Chart Types dropdown list to: Column 2D Chart
Then click Summery report.

Carrol - I am talking about the Merchant sales summary graph that get generated when you go the Home tab in the admin page. The last bar in the graph is the current month and the first bar in the graph last years one month ahead (5/13......4/14). I want to have the first bar to show last years April sales and this year April(4/13.......4/14).

This way I can compare last year monthly sales to this year monthly sales.

Hi,

I''ve never seen a graph on our admin left side panel but I''ve had a look at the code and I think you should be able to change it.
Open file admin/shopadmin1.asp and save a copy.
Find the sub routine :
sub displaychart
Change the quantity of the array to hold 13 months
dim monthnames(13)
A few lines further on change the quantity of days to be included in the year''s total from 365 to 396
fromdate = dateadd("d",-396,todate)
Save the file and test.

I have no idea if this will work so make sure you have a backup.
