We have been getting some weird UPS shipping estimates from customers. Recently a customer got an estimate of $27 then when they tried placing an order if you tab through the fields the estimate will be revised to $92.

I''m stumped as to how this is happening. This is the third occurrence of this happening in three weeks.

It seems only to be happening with orders being shipped via UPS to the U.S..

have you tried to reach their support asking for help on this ? not sure if related to yr settings ?
post them a ticket and see how ,, thats what i can suggest

No I haven''t Diego, but I might do that.

On another note I''ve come up with some pseudo code that might act like a failsafe for the problem, I just now need to figure out where I might be able to slip it into the code.

IF ShipCountry=US then
if ShipCost < (ShipWeight * 1.60) then (if the cost of shipping is less than the weight in pounds multiplied by 1.6 times)
ShipCost=ERROR
