ok, we know blogs usually have many articles (words) as content for search engine crawls and indexes them.

meanwhile shopping cart websites maybe dont have much words but possible to have many images for products display.

which type of website do u guys think better for SEO in general?

to be or not to be is must to be

Hi Crawler,

I think the type of website that better for SEO in general is the site that have this :
- good design
- good usability
- good content
- good title tag
- good Meta description
- good human friendly URL
- good headline or the topic
- good Image alt text - maybe this answered for the site that have many images because like you said earlier that search engine do not see image file, so need "alt text" which is the label that describes the image

i agree with you ryo_best, i guess google will have more sophisticated image reversing technique in the future (or already?). Goggles has shown very good results sometimes.

unique product description will be good also, google spider really like a unique content

For products, I guess you will need the following :
a) Unique Title
b) Unique Content Description
c) Unique Images related to the product with alt text
d) Perhaps try embedding related videos
e) Meta Title
f) Meta Keywords
g) Meta Description
h) Manually listing the rich snippets via source code (by clicking the source code/html button)

guys, FYI

with Google latest algorithm, for store owner, you will need to start creating smartphone application of your store, at least to increase local search as pigeon algorithm focusing on local search.

i have created a web base application so it''s just kind like simple container in vbnet,
