Hello - I am having a problem with checkout as a registered customer. The ajax fails when checking the customer login info. Spinner never stops and this is in the server log:

POST /shoploginajax.asp 3820|800a01ad|ActiveX_component_can''t_create_object 80

(the object which cannot be created is not named) What could it be?

I am running on a Windows 2008 server with IIS 7.5.

What activeX component would be required? I do have 32-bit compatibilty enabled within IIS.

Thanks for any help!

One more issue, the Ajax search fails similarly. Any help appreciated.

Figured out my own issue - thought 32-bit apps was enabled in IIS, but it was not. Problem seems fixed now.

Hi Mitchell

Was just wondering on which version are you currently using? Is it the latest version 8.1?

Anyway, as for the ActiveX_component_can''t_create_object error would imply that the component is either not installed or has been corrupted. You will need to check with your host for this.

On a side note (probably, not related), you will need to run your site on a Windows 2012 server due to the TLS update if I am not mistaken. - http://helpnotes.vpasp.com/kb/610-Hosting/1206-TLS-Security-Update/

Thanks,
Daniel

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the heads-up Squirrel (Daniel). The TLS upgrade requirement is big news.
