I heard a tip from a podcast about loading the text first on mobile phones so as to improve the perceived load time of product detail pages. I''ve been playing around with trying to rearrange the stacking order on VPCart version 8 and haven''t figured out how to move it below the extended description. I was wondering has anyone been able to accomplish resorting the stacking appearance on smartphone vertical layouts and if they could offer any tips.

A side issue is that all of our images have white backgrounds and the extended description has grey background in that area.

What you need i think try to edit a part content of tmp_productformat.htm and tmp_productformatinvent.htm, but if it is too difficult you need to submit a ticket.

Hey there,

Normally, I scan my sites using https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ and fix the recommended stuff from there to improve my site''s speed on both mobile and desktop.

Also, to accomplish the stacking appearance on smartphone, you will need to edit the template files. But, before you do all that, you will need to make sure that the general speed and optimization fixes provided by Google PageSpeed''s Insights are properly completed.

Perhaps you also wanna read this https://kinsta.com/learn/page-speed/ and optimize the images before uploading them using an image optimization tool like https://kraken.io/

Thanks,
Daniel
