Hi,
I have upgraded a client''s VPASP Cart 7 to 8 on a production site.
All works well. Downloaded & installed VP-ASP Eway Rapid 3.1 Integrated Payment solution as per the instructions and included the API and password as per the ReadMe file.
Going through the order process, I get an "Internal Server Error" when clicking on "Proceed to Payment" button on the shopcreateorder.asp page.
Server log shows: GET /shopcheckout.asp oid=833 20 ASP_0228_:_80004005Server.Execute_Error 80
I haven''t modified anything else apart from the API key and password on the Module Manager page. Enable Parent Paths is set to "True" in IIS (Hosted on Windows Server 2008 R2 & IIS 7.5). I have tested the Eway SP module and it works fine.
Test site URL: tf8.greatisland.com.au
Any other settings / URL''s that need to be changed for this to work?

Thanks for that ryo_best, the Load User Profile is set to "true" in the Application Pool - no change.
The error is only on once I click on the "Proceed to Payment" button on the shopcreateorder.asp page. There are no Application Event error in the logs either.
Any other thoughts?

you will need to set your site to send the true error to the browser please.
Thank you.

Hi dimarca, do you manage your server by yourself of third party hosting company ?, because if you manage the server by yourself, try to browse from your server and you will not get an "Internal Server Error", but the real error in your browser.
will wait for your error, hopefully I can help once the real error appear.

Hi guys,
I have enabled detailed errors for ASP on the server.
The exact error in the browser is: Server object error ''ASP 0228 : 80004005''
Server.Execute Error
/shopcheckout_subs.asp, line 20
The call to Server.Execute failed while loading the page.
(Yes I do manage the server myself, classic ASP is installed and parent paths enabled).
Appreciate the help!! |

Hi dimarja,
Line 20 : server.execute addongateway_oneurl
sorry, just curious, did you install the right version for VP-ASP Eway Rapid 3.1 Integrated Payment solution ?, or you already install the correct version, but corrupt on the process of installation ? |

Hi,
It is definitely the correct version and it installed without errors. Should I run the install again?

HI dimarja,
Strange, if we see from the error it related with the server cannot execute the module for payment solution, do you have another payment solution beside Eway Rapid 3.1 ?, just for testing, if you use another payment and it work, then we can confirm the problem is in Eway Rapid 3.1 module. |

Hi,
I have ewaysp (hosted payment page) installed and it worked before I installed the Eway Rapid 3.1 module. The ewaysp shows the same error upon checkout now as the Rapid 3.1 module when I activate it (and deactivate Rapid 3.1)
Could the installation of 3.1 corrupted something? |

Hi, so you have try your previous payment and the error still occurs ?, cmiiw, how about if you set xpaypal to yes, and try to checkout, if the error still occurs then I guess VPASP installation is corrupt, so you just need to reinstall it :) |

It looks like something got messed up during installation. I rolled back, reintalled and it works perfectly! |
