Hello.
I''ve been requested to change the phone number form field be broken up into three fields (area code, exchange, line number) instead of one form field. We''d also like to create a new field for extension. And we''d like to ensure that only numbers are inserted (currently, letters are permitted).
I don''t need to change anything in the db, I just need to make sure I format it back into one variable before it gets inserted into the db.
Is there any documentation on the data flow from form to db or has anyone done this before? I''m hoping it will be a relatively simple process.
