first of all I''d like to say that the vpasp 8 has an incredibly seo friendliness by default
A lot of things are better than the vpasp 7 (maybe the support team wanna interview me to know what i like more?? :) )


but there are some things to improve/correct


-IPv6 Compatibility
(The IPv6 protocol will soon replace the IPv4 protocol. Your web server should be prepped for the occasion.)

-Setting Structured Data Markup
(Google—and potentially other companies'' products—can understand the data it contains. Once Google understands the data on your site, your data can be presented more attractively and in new ways. In addition if you send HTML-formatted email to your customers, Markup Helper can show you how to change your email templates so GMail can present the data in your email in new and useful ways.)

-Add some text inside the categories
(now you can write something on the banners of the categories)
ex: http://www.stockelettrico.it/products/c640-Led/



-Reduce duplicate links
now there are many and many duplicate links in vpasp sites
(Having too many duplicate links on your website is harmful for your SEO. This score is obtained by measuring the ratio between single links and duplicate links.)

-Add Title attribute at links
(The title attribute allows you to associate keywords to the content of the specific page.)




-Add the tag rel="canonical" to the right urls
exemple:
http://www.site.it/products/X-productX/ <<<< contains rel="canonical"
http://www.site.it/products/X-productX/?bc=no <<<< NOT contains rel="canonical"
http://www.site.it/products/X-productX/?id=X <<<< NOT contains rel="canonical"
(The attribute link rel="canonical" allows you to avoid duplicate content. You inform the search engine of the preferred version of a page/content in case you have more than one page with a similar content.)

-Printing style sheet
(Adding a dedicated style sheet for printing allows users to print the content of your website in a more readable way.)

I realized that I was not very understandable in the text in the categories

so I''ve made 2 screens... one is now.. and one how it should be :)

Hi Alessandro.

Maybe you can solve this with xdisplaycategoryfiles=yes and field catextra on the Category pointing to your customized html file.

Please take a look and let me know what you think about it

Solved the text in categories with your suggestion...

I''m making all the description with txt files... but...
This method is inconvenient, slow and cumbersome. I have to create all the files, save, upload, and write down the name in the "catextra" .... 300 times !!

Slowly I''ll make it! :(

are pretty urgent... are there some news from the staff?



the others:
