Hi There:

I''m creating a subdomain which is virtually a copy of a VPCart V8 site which is up and running live.
Copied all files to new subdomain folder ... updated storeid, productmatch etc.

When I try to run the site, it wants to run /installation/default.asp. That isn''t there because I deleted the directory.

I know there is a way to tell it not to try and run the installation again but I just can''t find it.

Cam, I think you gave directions on this shortly after V8 came out.

Can you help?

Hi Dale,

This occurs when the database connection is not correct.

Are you using Access?

If so try using the full path to the database.

Or if using SQL or MySQL just make sure the database connection is correct.

Hi Cam:

You were right, the new subdomain didn''t have rights to the database folder. Once the permissions were set, my site was up and running.
