Hi,

I notice the system uses User ID inconsistently for eg
- during Login, User ID is used to identify the user
- but during Forget Password, the Last Name & Email Address are used (why not User ID instead of Last Name?)

also is there a way for us to enforce the User ID field must be unique in the system? I can create another user with the same user id. :(

Hi,

Have you tried enabling xcheckexistingcustomer? It will prevent duplicate user details on your shopping cart.

that strange, in my shopmailpwd.asp i only see Userid and email field ....i dun see last name in forgot pass form. your version maybe older in my opinion. and like other guy said xcheckexistingcustomer will prevent duplicate userid
