Hi
VP-ASP Plus 7.01.43
I’m confused about some VP-ASP settings
I’ve been in and out of many settings without any luck of being able to activate product page features such as product reviews and crosselling
My understanding is this feature under the Product Extended Description page, right?
However, how do I add this extended description page and these features?
Can you provide any guidance because I find vp-asp quite tricky to understand

Hi Joakim,

In the online config locate the following:

xprotabsenabled - Yes
xprotabsconfigs - Enter here the names of the tabs you wish to display on the extended product description page. You can have up to 5 tabs display. The choices are:

xcrossselling
xalsobought
xProCatDisplay
xallowratingproducts
xtellafriend
xproductextdesc

My settings:
xprotabsconfigs is set to YES

xprotabsenabled is set to YES

it doesn’t make a difference if I try to disable any of the taps, they still all keep show in xprotabsconfigs list and Nothing are showed in frontend product page at all?
It’s like working with a super user admin with no permission, because nothing happens when I make changes???

Hi Joakim,

As per our replies in Helpdesk ticket, the issue has been resolved.

Just summarize so the other forum members can see solution, we changed the xprotabsconfigs option from a Yes/No into an input field type. We also changed its value from Yes to xproductextdesc.

The xproductextdesc option is actually used to provide access to extended description (shopexd.asp) pages. While the xprotabsconfigs option is used to store the tabs that you would like to show in shopexd.asp page itself. This is why the option need to be set as input field type, so you could choose which tab that you would like to show. There is a duplicate in these names to make changes more simpler.

We also changed the xprotabsconfigs option from xproductextdesc to the following: xproductextdesc,xallowratingproducts,xcrossselling,xalsobought
