Has anyone else noticed that the Seo fix released by vpasp recently does not redirect traffic from the old category pages to the new ones? It does a nice job with the product redirects, however the category pages are often as important if not more so for Seo.

Hi Brian,

You need to ensure you upload all files to the server.

By default it should redirect apparently.

Thank you.

Cam,
Its been a long time, but I was never able to get this resolved. Does the seo fix take care of redirecting urls like the following:

http://www.nintendorepairshop.com/products/208-DSi-Shells/

to the correct new url:

http://www.nintendorepairshop.com/products/c208-DSi-Shells/

It is not working on my site, and I believe I have updated all of the files. Obviously I must be missing something.

Brian,

It seems to work. Clicking on ../products/208-DSi-Shells/ leads to page ../products/c208-dsi-shells/.

Maybe it has something to do with your browser''s cache?

Erik
