Is anyone out there running VPASP on a Apple Mac, and if so, do I need any additional software?

Hi Bobby

VPASP needs to run on a Windows web server however for the development and design you just need an HTML editing program like Dreamweaver on your Mac to build your store.

You then upload it to a server to see the changes.

We have a lot of Mac users on our books who all use this method.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Bobby, when using your OSX machine (Mac) remember that VPASP does not support Safari fully, or should I say it is very buggy and should not be trusted. None of the work I do in Safari in the admin pages can be saved. It was very frustrating before I figured this out.

Download and use Firefox or Camino. Both of these secondary browsers will work properly with the admin pages and keep you happy.

VPASP 7.0 will work with Safari after Service Pac 1 is released which we are very happy about.

But until then yes, you do need to use Firefox ideally to make any changes.

Thanks
