I would like to create a simple html file, "mp3_players.html" for instance, that displays the exact content of shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=8. This category obviously contains all my mp3 players :-) I don't want to use the server.redirect() function for SEO purpose.

I am having hard time finding the correct html syntax (if this is possible of course...) I should use in order to do this.

Thanks in advance,

You'd need to use a different approach for it to work in the way that you're after.
If the file that you browse has an htm or html suffix then it'll get treated like a hard-coded html file, so no dynamic stuff would be run; it'd need to be more like "mp3_players.asp"
(the only exceptions to that would be if you browsed an html file and then had that html file be a frame/iframe with the asp file inside it, and that would probably make your search engine ranking worse because search engines don't like frames.
