Does anyone know if I can use SQL Server Express installed on a local Windows 2003 Server with VPASP 6.5. Thanks.

I second the emotion. Does 6.50 work with SQL Express? Anyone out there using these two successfully?

yes it is possible, if your SQL server is setup right

then this is what you have to type as SQL server address in shop$config

const xSQLServer="255.255.255.255\SQLEXPRESS" ' SQL Server name or IP address

255.255.255.255 is your ip instead

also your user needs to have write permission to the database
