Using 301 redirects to maintain search engine rankings when switching to VP-ASP

Over the past few weeks we have had quite a few emails from
customers who were considering switching to VP-ASP from another shopping cart
provider but were concerned they would lose their search engine rankings when
they moved across.
Building up natural search engine rankings can take months or
even years so the concern is understandable however there is a very simple way
to get around this by using ‘301 redirect’ commands.
Implementing 301 redirects is simple and we have written
