The cart cookie add-on is here!

Hi everyone,

We have a great new add-on available that enables your customer’s shopping carts to remain populated even if they leave your website.

Currently, carts are automatically emptied if a customer is idle for more than 20 minutes, meaning they need to search your website and re-add their chosen products if they wish to continue with their purchase.

A few of our merchants have raised concern that this inconvenience may be leading to lost sales so we came up with a solution that allows customers’ shopping cart contents to be saved to a cookie on their computer.

You can customize the add-on by choosing how long products remain in a customer’s cart (24 hours, 3 days, 30 days etc) as well as changing the amount of products that can be added.

This add-on is only compatible with version 7.01, if you are running an older version visit our upgrade page for information on how you can upgrade and get the latest powerful ecommerce features for your store.
