A great alternative to annoying captcha forms | |

Hello everyone,
I recently stumbled across an interesting blog on Campaign
Monitor’s website. In case you didn’t know, Campaign Monitor are our email
newsletter partners who we integrate with to allow VPASP Merchants to create
professional looking email newsletters to send to your customers.
The blog discusses two alternatives to using annoying
captcha boxes on your website.
We really like the ‘honeypot’ captcha which works by adding
an invisible field to forms that only spambots will fill in. The field is
hidden using CSS so human users don’t see it while spambots do.
A simple, yet highly effective alternative to annoying captcha
boxes.
We will be adding honeypot captcha forms to our next version
so you can look forward to an increase in newsletter sign ups as less users are
scared off by awkward captcha boxes.
Happy Selling!
Gareth
