VPCart Paypal Payflow Pro Firewall IP address

If you are using Paypal Payflow as your payment gateway, you should recently get an email from Paypal about this :

--------------------------------------------
As part of our on-going commitment to provide a more robust service, Payflow will be introducing additional IP addresses to both the production and pilot environments. To minimize potential impact, we recommend that you use Domain Name Service (DNS) host names instead of hard-coding Payflow IP addresses.

However, if you must allow particular IP addresses through your firewall or proxy servers, please review our list of Payflow IP addresses to ensure that the appropriate IPs are configured in your firewall/proxy settings before mid-October 2017.

Please review our bulletin for additional information (including potential impacts) regarding this initiative. Any changes to the schedule will be updated on the bulletin.
--------------------------------------------

For those VPCart hosting customers and our Business Ready Plan customers that use Payflow or Payflow Pro to take payment, we would like to confirm our servers firewall does not only limit to a particular IP addresses to access site.
Our port 80 and port 443 are opened to all IPs.

Also we have checked our Payflow Pro files and our integration is not using any code logic to exchange files with PayPal's Secure FTP Reporting/ Batch Servers which usually required merchant server to allow Paypal particular IP address setup on their firewall.

So those additional Paypal IP addresses information can be ignored as we do not need to setup these in our servers.

If you have any questions regarding this, you can submit a helpdesk ticket to us.

Thank you.
