I have recently upgraded my operating system from Windows XP to windows 7 Ultimate and can now no longer run my site on Localhost, am still able to login to my site online and do updates does anybody have a cure for this issue or is it not possible to setup VPASP 6.5 on the localhost using Windows7 ultimate. Does VPASP7 run on later versions of windows using an access database.
Hope somebody can help resolve this for me.

Hi Bob

Is your new PC 32bit or 64bit/

If 64bit then you need to set IIS to compatibility mode to run an Access database as by default 64bit does not support Access.

Have you also followed the steps on the following page to enable ASP?

http://helpnotes.vpasp.com/kb/604-Tips-and-Tricks/914-VP-ASP-in-Windows-Vista---Windows-7/

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
